Matt Kenslea

Matt Kenslea joined the Centre Street Food Pantry Board in January 2026 where he is a member of the Marketing & Fundraising and Operations Committees. He has been a regular volunteer at the Pantry since 2018, unloading Greater Boston Food Bank deliveries on Monday mornings, and helping with break-down and clean up on Tuesday and Saturday service days.

A former Special Education teacher, Matt has worked in Technology Sales and Business Development for Higher Education for more than 30 years. He is currently with Lumen Technologies and previously was with Newton-based Cyberark, Oracle, Harvard Business School Publishing, Course Technology, and several early stage startups. 

A lifelong Newton resident, Matt graduated with a Dual BS in Elementary Ed/Special Ed from Fitchburg State University. He lives in Newton's Hunnewell Hill neighborhood with his wife, Barb, and their pet tropical fish. Their three adult children (and a lovely daughter-in-law!) all live in eastern Massachusetts.
