The extraordinary growth in need has pushed us to become a large year-round outdoor operation, yet we have retained the feeling of a small, vibrant volunteer community that works together to be sure that no one is worrying about food or foregoing food for other expenses.

You can give a turkey to a family this Thanksgiving.
We cannot let the elimination of SNAP benefits and loss of paychecks for government workers result in families going without a turkey this year. Even those not affected by these government actions are affected by escalating food prices, leaving them little extra — if anything — for this traditional holiday meal.
We received some turkeys for free from the Greater Boston Food Bank but need to purchase hundreds more so that families with children who visit Centre Street to get groceries can receive this one for their Thanksgiving table.
A $25 donation will buy a turkey for a family. You can buy more than one if you want to help more families.
