Leigh has lived in Newton for over 20 years and is an environmental attorney with a Boston-based firm. She serves as a Commissioner on the Newton Conservation Commission. She was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by Governor Baker in 2022. Leigh began volunteering at the Pantry in 2018 and watched the leadership meet the increasing needs of the community during the pandemic. She is thrilled to have joined the Board in late 2021. Leigh does pro bono legal work for the National Diaper Bank Network and the Women’s Foundation of Boston. She enjoys life in Newton with her husband, two daughters, and their joyful Bernedoodle named Winkel. She enjoys making pottery in her spare time.
